Provenzal - Peruvian Seasoning for Cau Cau Stew , Sachet x 60 gr : The cau cau is a stew of Peruvian cuisine based on tripes and potatoes.The peculiar name of the dish has several theories. It is said that it could come from any of the Quechua words: can or acacau, which mean smallness and hot, respectively. It is also suggested that the Chinese immigrants of the 19th century used the phoneme caucau to indicate that the ingredients of the stew should be minced in very small portions.

INGREDIENTS:

The main ingredients are cut into cubes, which are cooked in a base of yellow chili, toothpick, onion, garlic, mint and chopped parsley. Like most Peruvian stews, it is served with white rice.
